Our vision is to create a space where the generational gap is  reduced by finding common ground and creating lasting friendships. We hope to reduce loneliness regardless of age, and create a knowledge sharing and bonding platform where all positively benefit.

 Our mission is to bring together two generations—young individuals and older adults—to form meaningful friendships to reduce loneliness, close the generational gap, reduce generational stigma, and gain a greater understanding on life.

GenConnect matches individuals with common interests and uses written or video forms of communication to create a modern pen-pal platform. Here we are all volunteers working together to create a lasting impact.
